• You can only receive documents by visiting the hospital (proxy receipt available) or by mail (registration).

• If you receive it by proxy, you need to know the exact name and date of birth of the person who was inspected.

    ※ Before visiting our center, you must log in to the cruise line’s website using your personal ID and password and complete FORM A. Please note that the examination cannot be conducted if FORM A has not been completed prior to your visit. The examination results will be uploaded directly to the cruise line by our center. Since the final documents can only be issued after the cruise line reviews and approves the submitted results, we are unable to provide an exact timeframe for document issuance.
    If the results are uploaded without the need for a re-examination, it generally takes 10+ days (excluding public holidays).
    Costa 1 photo and printed documents are required.
    A stool test is required for the Food & Beverage Department.
    ※ Two visits to our center are required.
    During the first visit (at least 2 weeks before the embarkation date), you must have a consultation with the designated medical consultant. Please check the consultant’s schedule on the Monday of the week you plan to undergo the examination before visiting our center.
    Some examinations must be completed within 9 days before embarkation, and females are required to undergo certain examinations within 14 days before embarkation. Therefore, the second visit must be scheduled 9 days before the embarkation date.
    Since the cruise medical examination process takes approximately 2 weeks, please make your first visit at least 2 weeks before embarkation, complete your second visit 9 days before embarkation, and collect the final documents before your embarkation date.
    MSC 1 photo, a resume written in English and printed documents are required.
    A stool test is required for the Food & Beverage Department.

    If you have any documents or required inspection items provided, please make sure to print them out and bring them with you.
    In addition to the vaccination records listed in the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, if you have any past vaccination records, please bring them. If you are a military veteran, please bring a document on your vaccination history when you served in the military.

    : H-2 (employment visit), F-2, F-5, F-6 (residence, permanent residence, marriage immigration), F-4 (overseas Korean), G-1 (refugee), hepatitis B carrier, stay Extension (tuberculosis screening), drug test confirmation, etc.

  • ※ Medical examinations for seafarers working on Panama or Bermuda cruise ships are available only at designated medical institutions and cannot be performed at our center.
  • Additional costs will apply if you request changes to documents after submission.
    If there are any required documents to submit, please be sure to print them out.
  • Photos cannot be changed after submission. Please check the photography conditions for each country and bring photos that meet the requirements.
  • If you are replacing your passport with a new one, please be sure to tell us when applying.

Precaution

  • Please visit the hospital when you are in good physical condition.
  • Please avoid strenuous exercise, overeating, alcohol consumption, protein shakes, and creatine supplements on the day before your examination.
  • If you have diabetes, you may need to fast for 8 hours.
  • If the necessary tests include glucose and cholesterol tests, fasting for 8 hours is required even if you are not diabetic.
  • For women, please visit the doctor for a urine test 3 days after the end of your period. Other tests can be performed regardless of your menstrual period.
  • If you are pregnant or may be pregnant, please be sure to tell us when you apply.
  • If you have a history of lung disease, please bring a past chest X-ray CD for comparison.
    (Even if you had the disease a long time ago, traces will remain, so please tell your doctor when you see the doctor.)
  • If you are a hepatitis B carrier, please be sure to mention this when registering and seeing a doctor.
